Jessica Simpson appears to be in awe of Jeremy Renner’s impressive workout routine.

After Renner, 54, uploaded an Instagram video on Sunday, March 23, from his fitness session with his mom, Simpson, 44, wrote back in the comments section.

“I love this, oh my, Mama is STRONG,” Simpson replied. “I need to go do sit-ups now 🤣.”

Simpson, who also dropped a “like” on the upload, similarly responded to another one of Renner’s workout videos earlier this month.

“I find inspiration everywhere, especially when I need it most,” Renner wrote on March 8, sharing footage from his shirtless workout. “Setbacks are temporary, the will to overcome is available to everyone. I just grab it and go. What’s the alternative right? Bless you all and have a wonderful weekend !!! 🙏🏼.”

Simpson, meanwhile, left a fire emoji in the comments section — and Renner “liked” her message.

While it is not known how Simpson and Renner know each other, the MCU star seemingly repaid the favor. After Simpson released her Nashville Canyon, Part 1 EP over the weekend, he was excited about the new music.

Jessica Simpson jumped back into music with the support of her family — including her estranged husband, Eric Johnson. “It is a gift. Eric supported that gift. “Congrats, Jess !!! 👏👏👏🔥,” Renner replied to her March 21 post about the new record. Simpson also “liked” his message.

Simpson’s latest EP was written about her separation from her now-estranged husband, Eric Johnson. (Simpson and Johnson, 45, share three children and announced their split in January after a decade of marriage.)

“I was out in Nashville and I had my heart wide open, I was in a very intuitive state, and I had to ask some very personal questions on the home front,” Simpson said during a March 14 performance at the Luck Reunion festival in Texas. “I found out that my world had been turned upside down and that life was very different.”

She added, “I am now a very single lady. … When we open our hearts, sometimes we’re vulnerable and it just gets broken. Maybe sometimes we forget that we’ve been broken for a really long time, but when we meet ourselves, when we write, when we sing [and] when we connect with ourselves, we find all the answers.”

While Simpson pulled from the emotional breakup to write the new songs, she and Johnson remain on amicable terms.

“I’ve grown up so much. I can handle so much. Maybe I’m just meant to love a lot of people in my life,” she told People last month. “I don’t know why my heart gets tossed around, but I’m one of the lucky ones. At least I have my children and I still have Eric. He’s still very much a part of my life and will always be.”
