Congratulations are in order for Jenni “JWoww” Farley and her new husband Zack Carpinello!
The “Jersey Shore” star tied the knot with the pro wrestler after seven years together Wednesday at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, reports People.
The new bride surprised their wedding guests with the ceremony, as they invited 50 friends and family members to the venue for what they believed to be a special screening of her upcoming film, “Nanny Cam.”
Instead, guests were welcomed by the city’s local mayor, who revealed the surprise and served as the wedding officiant.
“We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on the people who matter most to us,” Farley told the outlet.
“We weren’t interested in throwing the biggest wedding possible,” she continued. “We wanted an unforgettable moment shared with our closest family and friends. The goal was creating memories, not creating a production.”
Farley, 41, continued, “More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us. The surprise element, the family focus and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful.”
To pull of the major surprise, the couple crafted movie-themed invitations and even rolled out a red carpet at the event space.
“We’ve spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details and building the surprise,” the newlyweds explained of what they called “a moment we’ll never forget.”
In going with their non-traditional theme, Carpinello, 31, walked down the aisle to “The Name’s Bond..James Bond.” The song, which was composed by David Arnold, was featured in “Casino Royale.”
Farley walked to her now-husband to the tune of Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” — the same song her best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi used for her first dance at her wedding to Jionni LaValle in 2014.
The move was a “tribute to my best friend,” Farley explained.
The venue was given a romantic transformation complete with deep ruby reds, floral accents, rose gold, and set to a candlelight for the ceremony, which Farley revealed was inspired by a Disney tale.
“The overall inspiration was a modern ‘Beauty and the Beast’ fairy tale with a dark romance twist,” she explained.
“Ruby became the thread that tied everything together,” she continues. “From my ruby ring and Zack’s new rose gold wedding band featuring rubies, to our color palette and the gifts we incorporated for our children, the ruby represented love, family, and the next chapter of our story.”
Farley went public with her relationship with Carpinello in April 2019 — just months after she filed for divorce from her ex-husband Roger Mathews.
Their divorce was finalized in August 2019. She shares two children with her ex: 11-year-old daughter Meilani and 10-year-old son Greyson — both of whom were included in the ceremony with special mementos from the wrestler.
Carpinello gifted Meilani a ruby birthstone ring while her brother received a soccer-themed gift.
“This wedding is about our family, not just the two of us,” the couple shared. “We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love story but also the family we’ve built together over the last seven years.”
