Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been enjoying a “nice escape” away from the spotlight while they can, a source exclusively tells Page Six.
The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end haven’t made a public appearance since Super Bowl LIX and have been spending the last seven weeks at secluded destinations and sneaking in and out of restaurants.
“A lot of their time is spent at home just relaxing. Despite their fame, they’re really just like any other couple,” the insider says.
“They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out,” the source tells us.
“This is such a nice escape for them to finally be able to stay out of the limelight for a bit before they eventually have to get out in the public eye again due to their careers.
“This time away from the spotlight has been so refreshing for Taylor and Travis. They really cherish this time while they can because they know it can’t last forever.”
According to the insider, the “Fortnight” singer and the Super Bowl champ, both 35, are “able to feel a bit of normalcy for the first time in a long time.”
“Travis will be heading to training camp later this summer and Taylor will eventually need to head back to work, so this is a sliver of time they have all to themselves.”
Our source tells us this is “refreshing” for Swift because “fans have known her every step, particularly for the last two years since she’s been on her Eras Tour.”
The much-needed quality time for the couple — who have been dating since the summer of 2023 — follows the latest NFL season and Swift’s record-breaking tour.
Page Six previously reported that the “Cruel Summer” songstress was
“looking forward to some downtime” after wrapping her shows — and Kelce “encouraged” her to take time off.
The Grammy winner’s Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Ariz., in March 2023 and concluded in Vancouver on Dec. 8, 2024.
“Taylor was ready for this tour to wrap because she’s burnt out and is looking forward to some rest and relaxation,” a source told us at the time.
Reps for Swift and Kelce did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
