Elle Ferguson was showing off her designer haul on Sunday.

The social media star, who rose to fame on The Block in 2022, snapped up some luxury items from Chanel, including a belt and a very trendy new bag.

Flaunting the purchases in an Instagram video, the influencer first displayed her newly-acquired black, leather Chanel belt.

Elle said she was inspired to make the purchase after seeing actress Margot Robbie wearing the $1,660 accessory.

Next, she unveiled her bag, the brand new Chanel Maxiflap, which retails for an eye-watering $15,090 and has just recently become available for purchase.

Elle explained that she wanted to ‘treat herself’ to the latest release from the high-end fashion house, and described the oversized shoulder bag as ‘so chic’ and ‘very French’.

The grained calfskin purse, which comes in burgundy, is bound to be this season’s must-have accessory.

Elle’s followers were impressed, with one writing in the comments: ‘Are you joking? We’re obsessed. Love love love.’

Another said: ‘It’s absolutely stunning!!!’ while one more chimed in, ‘Such a gorgeous bag.’

Not everyone was amused, however, with one person commenting: ‘Yeez. Is this important? Today is #womensday and you have to be this shallow?’

Last year, Ferguson responded to the heavy backlash she copped after modelling a very revealing dress by Spanish fashion house Loewe.

At the time, she had shared an Instagram video of herself wearing the frock, and many of her followers said the designer ensemble looked ‘unflattering’, ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘hideous’.

The 40-year-old has defended her viral sartorial moment, calling the piece the ‘most beautiful dress’.

‘The only thing I was thinking when I put this dress on is that I was exceptionally lucky to be looking at Jonathan Anderson’s last collection with Loewe,’ Elle told The Daily Telegraph.

She added that she had been looking forward to trying on the dress and when she found out it was in Sydney, the opportunity to try it on made her feel very special.

‘I loved that dress. I still love that dress. I put it on and I stood there proudly,’ she said, adding that her fiancé Joel Patful loved it too.

Elle went on to remind her fans that art is subjective and shouldn’t be used as a way to criticise people.

‘Art starts conversations. But I don’t think there’s any place for negative comments or tearing a woman down for wearing a dress,’ she said.

Elle was slammed online after posting a video of the lilac-coloured designer dress on Instagram.

The frock, which is part of luxury fashion house Loewe’s Fall 2025 collection, features a plunging neckline and peplum-layered design around the waist.

Elle’s fans flocked to the comments to slam her ‘hideous’ look, with many insisting the dress doesn’t complement her figure.

Despite the divide in opinion over the dress, Elle found a silver lining in the viral post.

The influencer told Sunday Confidential that her Instagram engagement had soared ‘through the roof’ recently, garnering 8.2 million views in 30 days.
