Gisele Bündchen is back … on the cover of W Magazine.
The 45-year-old poses on the cover of the current issue of the publication — her first W Magazine cover in 19 years.
Bündchen graces the Summer Issue, wearing a black satin Celine top and briefs, adding a statement charm necklace from the design house as well filled with shells.
The supermodel wears bright red lipstick and her famous honey blond hair is pulled back into a sleek ponytail.
Elsewhere in the spread, she wears a backless trench from Hodakova, Gucci jersey turtleneck gown with a slit that reaches above her hip, and a Jean Paul Gaultier dress with cuffs so exaggerated, they nearly touch the floor.
Reflecting on the past in the accompanying interview, she says, “So much has changed” since her first cover in 1999.
“When I arrived on set for this shoot, the best part was reconnecting with everyone and feeling that creative energy again,” she added.
A true industry veteran, the model shared, “When I was younger, I was often asking myself, ‘Am I doing enough? Am I getting it right?’”
But, after more than three decades in front of photographers all around the world, she has “come to really understand everything that goes into creating an image” and also “when you are confident and accepting of yourself, everything flows naturally.”
Bündchen’s last cover for W was in 2007 — her twelfth cover with photographer Michael Thompson for the brand.
She tells W that, at the time, “instead of focusing on external expectations, I started paying attention to how I felt internally. That changed everything — not only my work, but also the way I experienced life.”
During her career, the mom-of-three became known for her “horse walk” due to her deliberate, stomping style.
“It happened naturally,” she shared of the signature, adding, “I think the horse walk became popular because it had power. For me, walking a runway was never just about the clothes — it was about confidence.”
