TV legend Donna Mills issued a fiery retort after recently being told she looks ‘inappropriate’ for her age.
Last month, Mills went viral for her video response to an Instagram troll who accused her of ‘wearing too much make-up’ for an 85-year-old woman.
Donning a traditional old lady costume, the Daytime Emmy winner responded: ‘Did you want me to look like this?’
‘Sorry not sorry,’ Mills said. ‘I like the way I look. This is my style, and style doesn’t have an expiration date. Does it?’
Mills’s Instagram skit got 124,000 likes and happy comments from celebrities like Viola Davis, Star Jones, Elizabeth Berkley, Jennifer Aydin, Laura Benanti and Finola Hughes.
‘I was just grateful that people were hearing, because I really feel like I have something to say to women,’ Mills said Tuesday on the Tamron Hall Show of the post’s viral impact.

‘It’s not just about me. It’s about women in general and the way women feel about themselves, right?’
The Chicago-born grandmother continued: ‘It’s a new age now. It’s a new time. We’re living longer. We can be healthier. So, this isn’t like the end. You don’t hit 70 or 75 or 80 and it’s over.’
Mills said she feels good when she knows she looks good, but then admitted: ‘When I look in the mirror, I see everything that’s wrong.’
The 55-year-old host challenged: ‘So then how can you tell [women] to see what’s right?’
‘Well, I fix it,’ the blue-eyed blonde laughed, hinting at cosmetic procedures.
Mills, who relies on make-up artist Brett Freedman, wore a wavy blonde wig over her natural white hair, and she dressed up in a lavender pantsuit selected by stylist René Horsch.
The Mandeville Vineyards co-founder became a grandmother when her 31-year-old adopted daughter Chloe Nicole Collings and her husband Travis Collings welcomed their 18-month-old son Colter.
Mills will next portray Dr. Karen Carden in Terrance Tykeem’s psychological thriller Abused – coming out this summer – about six survivors of abuse being re-traumatized by a madman.
