Danny Dyer reveals he is preparing to undergo surgery on his testicles after his dad told him to ‘get that b****ck done, it ain’t right’

Danny Dyer has revealed he is preparing to undergo surgery on his testicles to ‘sort out his big nut’.

The English actor, 47, made the confession on his Live And Let Dyers podcast which he hosts with daughter Dani. 

EastEnders star Danny said that he is set to go under the knife to have his testicles taken care of, after suffering from a hydrocele, or as he puts it, a ‘really big nut.’ 

‘I need to get it done – is have a reduction on my winkle. Well, it’s just too big,’ Danny said jokingly, before Dani interjected to correct him ‘My big nut, yeah. I do need to get that [done],’ he added.

Danny revealed it was actually his dad who convinced him to get the procedure after having it done himself.

‘He’s always been on my case, my dad,’ Danny said. ‘Like, “Listen, you’ve got to get that b****** done, it ain’t right”. You know… “God didn’t make you that way”.’  

Danny explained that a hydrocele is a type of swelling in the scrotum that occurs when fluid collects in the thin pouch that surrounds the testicles. 

Going on to say it runs in the family, Danny added: ‘I need to get it drained is what it is. It’s a hydrocele.

‘And my dad had the operation, and I think he went to some sort of backstreet doctor in Custom House. Yeah, he didn’t want to pay for it!’

With his father having had his own procedure to correct the issue, Danny reveals that he’s had an earful ever since, with his dad imploring him to get it done as well. 

‘So he’s always been on my case, my dad. Like, “Listen, you’ve got to get that b****ck done, it ain’t right”. You know… “God didn’t make you that way”, all that bull****.’

But his dad’s feeling after getting the surgery quickly changed. 

‘Anyway, and then he had the operation and then he went to me, “Don’t get it done, don’t get it done! I can’t sit down!”,’ Danny said. ‘So, it was a conflicting message!’

However, in true Dyer fashion, Danny admits he is prepared to put his balls to the wall and have the operation sooner rather than later. 

[It’s] something that I will get done eventually,’ he said. 

Danny’s confession comes after he roared ‘f*** off!’ at the A League Of Their Own studio audience after receiving a controversial gift from a fellow show panelist.

He was a guest on Wednesday’s episode, alongside Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, and joined forces with Jill Scott and Micah Richards, while the footballer teamed up with Jamie Redknapp and Rob Beckett.

But before the teams could go head-to-head in a few rounds of fun games, Jorginho revealed he had bought gifts for Arsenal fan Rob and diehard West Ham United fan Danny.

Passing them both large red Arsenal gift bags, the duo both received a signed football shirt from the star.

As expected, Rob was delighted, but Danny was not impressed – so much so, that he told the show audience to ‘f*** off’ when asked to wear the gift. 

Eying up his present Danny quipped: ‘Is that worth a few quid?’

Jill responded: ‘Yeah, you’ve got to keep that!’ as she and Jamie encouraged him to take the shirt out of the bag.

But the Hammers fan insisted he didn’t want to and joked that it felt ‘weird and itchy’.

The audience proceeded to laugh at his stark reaction, with someone then shouting: ‘Put it on!’ to which Danny, who once said he ‘loved West Ham more than his kids’ bluntly responded: ‘F*** off!’
