It’s that time of the year again: Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is back, and so is the A-list crowd wearing some very bizarre outfits.

The festival, which takes place over the span of two weeks, is a huge deal in the celebrity world, with tons of megastars like Taylor Swift, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez among last year’s guests.

Most attendees may have been left battling car parking chaos, near record-breaking temperatures and staggering food prices this opening weekend – but that has not deterred a sea of social media influencers like Alix Earle and Charli D’Amelio turning up.

This year’s star-studded list of performers includes Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Green Day, Post Malone and Megan Thee Stallion.

And, just this week, Ed Sheeran was added to the lineup of the annual music festival after FKA Twigs had to drop out due to visa issues.

Anitta and Gel also canceled, and Weezer stepped in to fill that gap.

The hotly-anticipated event takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, but it appears not everyone is standing up to scrutiny under the sartorial spotlight.

Take a look at all the outfits that were a major miss at weekend one of Coachella 2025.

Julia Fox, 35, who previously dated Kanye West, left little to the imagination in a very bizarre ensemble. The model opted for a beige coset, matching cycling shorts and a pair of brown knee high boots but her decision to flash her underwear beneath brown tights was something of a step too far

Missing something? Paris Hilton went all-out at Coachella’s exclusive Neon Carnival after party, wearing a revealing black bodysuit with cut-outs and a pair of patent leather boots

Author Rosie Marks, British comedian Amelia Dimoldenberg and Dylan Mulvaney (pictured left to right) all somewhat missed the mark. The three pals showed very little cohesion and appeared to all be dressed for different outings. Dylan in particular looked more ready for a slumber party than a dance in the desert

Alix Earle, 24, opted for ‘pirate chic’ as she proudly showcased her ‘Day One OOTD’ with her 4.1 million Instagram followers. It consisted of a skimpy leather romper, green pleated micro skirt, an assortment of belts and $400 Naked Wolfe chunky black boots. But fans were quick to point out the impracticalities with many questioning how she would use the restroom after admitting it took her 20 minutes to lace up her bodysuit alone

YouTuber James Charles, 25, is not one to hold back when it comes to his fashion choices but opting for dark blue high-waisted jeans during a heatwave at Coachella might have been an error. He finished the look with a one-shouldered wet-illusion crop top, a series of pearl accessories and a small handbag

Mean Girls star Renee Rap, 25, looked primed to overheat under the desert sun after her sedate yet modest look that left her covered up from head to toe. It was a far cry from her usual glitz and glam as she opted for an oversized black tee, floor-length gingham style skirt and a baseball cap

Fellow influencer Charli D’Amelio also came under fire after opting for a cropped lace-trimmed silk-satin top, which appeared to be from Chloe and priced at $1,690, that intentionally flashed glimpses of nipple. The 20-year-old was flooded with comments after posing in the controversial crop which she paired with fringed studded shorts

American and Canadian actress Madeleine Arthur, 28, who recently starred in Devil in Ohio, left a lot to be desired after opting for a rather lackluster ensemble of embroidered denim shorts and a burnt orange bra top – before adding a lacy white overshirt to try and pull the basic look together

Emma Roberts, 34, appeared far too corporate for the carefree ambience associated with Coachella. The star opted for white sleeveless, straight fitting dress with black zigzag detailing a few inches from the hem. She also sported uncharacteristically auburn locks that she styled in beach waves and let flow in front of her shoulders
