Bianca Censori could fit inside her oversized black Birkin.
At just 5’ 3” tall, the Australian architect was spotted at the Melbourne airport carrying a black leather Hermès Haute à Courroies 50 bag that dwarfed her frame.
In true Censori form, her look stood in stark contrast to her fellow travelers, as she was wearing a fur-trimmed coat and metallic platform pumps with her giant purse.
So what, exactly, was the 31-year-old carrying in her bag?
It’s unlikely, with the team of assistants that surrounded her as she walked, that she was carrying her own luggage. It’s unlikely, also, that she would be able to fit her clothing for vacation in a single bag, no matter how large the Birkin.
Was it Kanye West hitching a ride, under cover of Hermès? Or perhaps she was carrying a spare pair of pants, given her habit of leaving the house half-clothed.
The HAC is actually the original Birkin. Long before Jane Birkin ever came around, the iconic Hermès style was designed with equestrian boots in mind, hence the oversized silhouette.
Censori isn’t the only celebrity to reach for the massive Birkin style — now beloved by many as a travel tote.
Back in January, David Beckham was spotted heading to the airport in Paris with his family carrying the canvas version of the same bag. Knicks player Karl Anthony Towns, too, owns the same style.
Back in 2023, West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian opted for the look in gray crocodile while out and about in New York City.
