Bethenny Frankel revealed she’s suffering from an infection that left a massive rash on her face while vacationing in St. Barts during the holidays.
“POV: You left St. Barths 3 days early and & brought home a bacterial infection,” she captioned a TikTok video Monday showing a large rash on her face.
“Allergic to St. Barths #bye,” she captioned the clip.
On Sunday, the “Real Housewives of New York” alum posted another TikTok video where, fittingly, she said she was “itching to get off” the island she claimed was filled with people who are too “focused on where they should be rather than where they are.”
“Every day you go to either a beach or a beach club at a hotel and it would be the ‘Hunger Games’ of fashion and money. No one is just dressed casually,” she explained.
“I went swimming in the ocean and got paparazzi’d and looked like a drowned rat because I wasn’t wearing couture to the beach,” the reality star, 55, quipped.
She then detailed lunches in St. Barts that were the “price of a Bar Mitzvah.”
“It was 20-year-old kids spending tens of thousands of dollars, people vaping. I didn’t like having my daughter there.”
Frankel had chosen the destination for mother-daughter trip with her 15-year-old daughter, Bryn, because they vacationed there in 2023 and enjoyed it, but this year she said it “hit different.”
“I felt like a bad parent because I just don’t want her to think that this is reality. It’s not — to me — good values.”
“The minute we got there I started to feel anxiety. I just did not feel like I made a good choice for myself and for Bryn,” Frankel admitted. “I didn’t want to be there. I just had a bad feeling the whole entire time.”
After she received the “very very difficult news about a friend passing,” she packed up their things in the middle of the night and the mother-daughter duo left on New Year’s Day.
“Don’t believe everything on social media… #yourewelcome #stbarths,” she captioned the post, seemingly referring to the array of A-listers seen partying it up on mega-yachts in St. Barts during the holiday.
Celebs including, Leonardo DiCaprio, Heidi Klum, Natalie Portman, and Camila Cabello were all seen soaking up the sun in the island last week.
Besides the many star-studded parties, a few new romances seemed to blossom in St. Barts as well.
Page Six is told Glen Powell and his new flame, Michelle Randolph, jetted off to the starry island for a “longer vacation” after a quick stop in Miami.
Sources also exclusively told Page Six that Tom Brady and a newly-single Alix Earle cozied up at a yacht party.
