Baywatch alum Nicole Eggert has had no fear showing off the scars from her cancer battle, and she valiantly lifted the lid again as seen in new photos posted to her Instagram on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old actress wore a lace corset bra and faded blue jeans that clearly outlined the now-healed wounds from surgery.
Eggert has been through a major ordeal where her health is concerned, but continued to look on the bright side as she wrote in the caption, ‘Grief can arise from many life situations, but know it is not a permanent state of being,’ followed by the hashtags ‘#breastcancer #makingyourselfssick #feelyourselfup #menopause #iloveyou.’
She first revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in 2024, and she has been transparent throughout her journey ever since.
Taking the high road, Eggert – who revealed earlier this month why she left Baywatch after just two seasons – even shaved her head before she went through eight grueling months of chemotherapy and radiation.
In August 2025, she had mastectomy and reconstruction.

Then last month, she shared that she had undergone a full hysterectomy after ‘test results showed early signs of more cancer. I am grateful to my doctors for keeping such a close eye on me.’
While she has tried to shield her daughters, Dilyn, 27, and Keegan, 14, from the more unpleasant aspects of her cancer battle, she said they remain her ‘motivation’ for beating this disease.
Eggert described how she broke the news to her girls to People in October 2025.
‘Dilyn’s an adult, so I just had a very honest, open conversation with her about it,’ she told the outlet. But Keegan was 12 at them time, and explaining everything was ‘tricky.’
‘The look on her face when I told her it was cancer… it just… my world shattered. I knew I couldn’t leave that little girl without me. So it became very clear in that moment that I had to fight this and win,’ Eggert added.
Eggert remains positively upbeat and focused on a future of gratitude and renewed health.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, she revealed she regrets quitting Baywatch when the lifeguard drama was at its peak.
The blonde bombshell played Summer Quinn on the hit series, which made global stars of the likes of Pamela Anderson as C.J. Parker, David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon and Yasmine Bleeth as Caroline Holden.

Baywatch – which ran for 11 seasons from 1989 to 2001 – became a worldwide television phenomenon and was one of the most-watched shows of the 1990s.
Eggert joined the cast as Summer at the beginning of season three but walked away after season four ended, after being promised a leading role in a spin-off that ultimately never materialized.
Eggert now can admit it was an impulsive decision which she regrets to this day.
Speaking on the Still Here Hollywood podcast, she said, ‘I had some crazy idea in my head that if I left the show, I would be able to detach myself from the stigma that the show had given all of us as actors, which is now a thing.’
Eggert explained that the original plan had been for her to lead a proposed spin-off, which was described to her as a ‘Beverly Hills, 90210-esque’ beach-based series focused on lifeguard training and younger characters.
Eggert had been approached through industry connections while working on Charles in Charge, with early discussions involving producers who were keen to build the new project around her and a fresh ensemble cast of new lifeguards.
However, as Baywatch continued to grow into a global phenomenon, the network shifted direction and the spin-off plans were ultimately shelved.
She recalled, ‘They were like, “Spin-off? Nothing! This is what’s working, and we want it to stay like this!”‘

A new Baywatch reboot series is currently in production for Fox starring Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Livvy Dunne, Jessica Belkin, Brooks Nader and original Baywatch star David Chochaki returning as Cody Madison. It is slated to premiere during the 2026-2027 season.
However, not everyone thinks a Baywatch reboot is a good idea.
When the first photos and clips dropped in March, fans ripped it as a bad idea with many remembering the 2017 Baywatch film starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron that flopped.
One critic posted, ‘Who the hell thought a Baywatch reboot was a good idea?’ Another didn’t hold back, writing, ‘This has FLOP written all over it. Why on earth is this even being considered? Hollywood is so out of ideas.’
One ventured to predict, ‘Watch it be cancelled after one season. Ain’t nobody watching this.’ Another added, ‘Humanity has regressed since the ’90s.’
