Australian DJ Fisher has shared an exciting career update with his fans, revealing he has been cast in a big budget Hollywood movie.
The veteran performer, 39, shared the news on Instagram on Monday, announcing he will be the voice of one of the characters in the Australian and New Zealand release of the Disney film Toy Story 5.
‘This is actually wild! I’m the Garden Gnome in Toy Story 5! Honestly, just can’t wait to watch this with Chloe, Bobbi and Andi! Thank you so much for having me DisneyAUNZ!’ Fisher wrote alongside a picture of the character he will be voicing.
Fisher’s character will be part of a group of abandoned toys that live in a backyard shed, with Disney describing the gnome as: ‘Fiercely protective of teatime and his kid.’
Many of Fisher’s family and friends took to the comments to share their excitement upon hearing the news.
‘Can’t wait for this!!!’ wrote Fisher’s wife Chloe.

Toy Story 5 will be released in cinemas across Australia on Thursday, June 18.
Fisher is one of Australia’s most popular music performers and is renowned for his energetic live shows.
In February, Fisher and his wife Chloe shared their joy after welcoming their second child, a healthy baby girl.
The celebrity couple confirmed the exciting news on social media, by sharing a heartfelt gallery of precious baby photos.
One adorable picture captured Fisher – real name Paul Nicholas Fisher – tenderly kissing his newborn daughter’s forehead as his wife Chloe lovingly looked on.
Another photo showed the celebrity DJ beaming brightly as he tenderly cradled his bundle of joy.
In the caption, they shared their excitement at becoming new parents – and revealed their daughter’s adorable name.

In August, Fisher announced he was expecting his second child with his wife.
The Losing It hitmaker took to social media to reveal that he and Chloe would be welcoming the newborn in 2026.
The couple have been candid about their fertility struggles over the years.
The struggles saw them undergo eight rounds of IVF and four miscarriages before welcoming their daughter Bobbi in June 2024.
