She’ll never stop bopping to the top.
Twenty years to-the-day since “High School Musical” was released, Ashley Tisdale is proving she’s still got it.
In celebration of the major anniversary, the 40-year-old actress revisited some iconic looks she wore as Sharpay Evans in the Disney Channel movie, using her storage unit hallway like a runway.
Tisdale shared a video on Instagram, writing, “You can take the girl out of East High…but you can’t take Sharpay out of the girl 💅✨.”
With “Bop To The Top” playing in the background, she further captioned the post “20 years and two babies later I’m still squeezing into these looks.”
While she might very well have more looks waiting in the wings, Tisdale chose three truly memorable wardrobe selections for the video.
First, Tisdale ruffled the full skirt of Sharpay’s turquoise “Bop To The Top” dress, adding metallic silver peep-toe heels.
Second came a pink tweed skirt suit and satin camisole that had her character looking like a younger Elle Woods, with her Sidekick phone miraculously still in hand.
And, finally, she wore Sharpay’s purple satin mini, pink ribbed tank, and statement silver sequin shrug seen during a performance of “What I’ve Been Looking For.”
An hour earlier, the actress took to the social media platform to share a carrousel of throwback images from the movies, writing, “20 years ago we had no idea what this would turn into.”
“I love you, Sharpay. And let me just say… we’re still looking fabulous! 💖” she continued.
Included in that slideshow was a pic of her costumes on her storage rack, along with a close-up of her crystal-bedazzled Sidekick.
Though Tisdale is currently engulfed in “toxic” mom group drama on the heels of her penned essay for New York Magazine, Page Six exclusively reported that Hollywood studios are considering turning the saga into a film.
Perhaps she can star in the adaptation and pull from her very own closet.
