Ashley Judd embraced nature as she frolicked in the ocean in her latest Instagram post.
The 58-year-old actress, whose mom is the late Naomi Judd, was clad in a low-cut green and white one-piece swimsuit in a video she labeled ‘We Don’t Care Club: Baltic Sea Edition.’
In a caption to her one million followers, she gave a shoutout to content creator Melani Sanders, whose social media movement the We Do Not Care Club empowers women in midlife.
‘As always, thank you, @justbeingmelani, for this glorious movement,’ Judd wrote as she added her own ‘MSU (Making Stuff Up) club’ as ‘bonus material.’
The note continued: ‘This installment is a healing tonic for a grave condition that often plagues adults and the overly serious: “Know-It-All-itis.”
Judd wrote later in the lengthy message, ‘Reality is absurd and splendiferously fantastic. Play should be, too. How will you play today?’

She joked at one point, ‘The good news is when it’s shallow you don’t get as much sand in your crotch.’
In another part of the snippet she picked up seaweed, lightheartedly referring to it as ‘salad.’
Judd also used the seaweed as a bracelet and then an impromptu crown as she called herself a ‘lady of the sea.’
At the end of the video she embraced the discomfort of the ‘very cold’ water as she jumped in for a swim.
It comes as the star has been leaning into a ‘personal journey in nature to release my inner child.’
Last year a source told Daily Mail the movie icon had begun healing childhood trauma by listening to her ‘inner voice’ with the help of a ‘wisdom teacher’ who was guiding her to unfiltered happiness.
‘She wants to experience the joy she never had as a child,’ said a friend. ‘Her hope is to lose all the drama and expectations and splash around like a silly child enveloped in light.’

Should more women embrace playful self-expression and challenge age norms like Ashley Judd?
Judd, who grew up in a famous family, reflected on her mother Naomi in an Instagram post shared in May.
The Double Jeopardy actress said she went without a role model for much of her childhood as her mom, a singer, was touring constantly.
‘There was no parent (or adult) supporting, nurturing, guiding and reinforcing my learning, delighting in, or protecting that little girl,’ she opened up.
Judd also shared that for her 58th birthday in April she re-imagined her 12th birthday as she does not remember having any parties when she was a child.
‘Have you ever considered, from your adult perspective, restaging for your sweet inner child an experience she either never had at all?’ she asked her followers.
‘Or an experience that did not unfold with the safety and attention it should have? I deeply enjoy doing this from a loving inner-parent perspective for my inner family.’
She shared photos from a mock 12th birthday during which she sang and danced with friends.
