Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is now on the number two spot of the TRP chart. In the week 9 of 2025, Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla‘s show has managed to beat Udne Ki Aasha and other shows to become the second-highest TRP raking show of the week. Armaan and Abhira’s new beginnings have got good traction for the show. There are a few reports suggesting that the show is soon going to take a short leap.
As per reports, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to take a leap of five months. Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and Armaan (Rohit Purohit) are currently struggling to make ends meet, however, post the leap, they will see success as they start their tours and travel agency. Further, as per a report in entertainment news and TV news site India Forums, Armaan and Abhira are also planning to embrace parenthood. Report stated that they will be opting for IVF to welcome their child into this world. Due to a medical condition, it was earlier revealed that Abhira will have challenges conceiving. She did conceive, however, her baby was born still. Now, they are planning for IVF.
However, a latest report in the portal suggests that Armaan and Abhira will be heartbroken as the IVF treatment will fail. They will once again be shattered. However, doctors will suggest surrogacy. It will be Armaan who would leave Abhira stunned with his decision to go ahead with surrogacy. The report also says that Abhira will be all nervous to inform Ruhi and Rohit about their plan.
Armaan and Abhira now seem determined to become parents. In recent episodes, we also see Dadisa taunting Abhira over not being able to give Armaan the happiness of being a father. It appears that all of it has triggered Armaan and Abhira’s decision.
