Apple Martin has joined the beauty chat.

The 21-year-old model and daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin landed a spread in Vogue’s March issue and participated in the mag’s “Beauty Secrets,” sharing her makeup routine and opening up about her acne struggles.

Of course, with Goop’s Paltrow as your mom, Martin has the world of wellness experts at her fingertips, acknowledging, “my mom definitely gave me advice and, God bless her, she would ask all of her super Goop-y people about where I should go visit.”

Joking that her routine is “stressed out college student skincare,” Martin immediately addresses her acne as she looks into the mirror completely makeup free.

“I know I still have a little bit of blemishes and stuff, but it was really bad in high school,” she explains, adding, “I mean … my acne was not like crazy, crazy, but it definitely affected my self-esteem.”

Though Martin’s routine does help her even out her skin and cover up any scars or blemishes at the moment, she speaks candidly about her current healthy relationship with her skin.

“Now I’m just kind of like ‘I’m human … what am I gonna do? If I have a pimple, it’s not the end of my life,” she added.

“The more that you stress about it, the worse it’ll get, most likely,” she laughs as she circles her hands around her forehead and adds, “This is all stress.”

Beginning with her Goop cleanser ($38) and 47 Skin scar repair serum ($45), she calls out Typology —specifically their tinted serum ($48) and tinted concealer ($37) — as a brand that doesn’t cause her skin to break out.

She cites not only her famous mom but also her celeb grandmother, Blythe Danner, as two of her ultimate icons: “such, such beautiful ladies.”

Martin also paid homage to Paltrow with the fashion spread.

In one image, she wears a pink satin shirt and pants set that can’t help but conjure images of Paltrow’s iconic Ralph Lauren gown from the 1999 Academy Awards.

It’s also, as it happens, the exact same Calvin Klein look that her mom wore for an appearance on Good Morning America back in December.

In other pics, she dons everything from skinny Jil Sander trousers to a skirted Alaïa look.

“My mom’s wardrobe from her 20s is just about my favorite thing in the entire world,” she adorably shared, adding that she spent winter break at home where she “dabbled in trying everything on.”

“It makes me emotional thinking about the things in that closet,” she added, going on to describe a pair of YSL bootcut trousers that she snagged to bring back to college with her: “They’re very boss babe … They make me want to do my work.”

While Martin was included in the magazine back in 2024 during Le Bal des Débutantes, this is her first full fashion spread for Vogue.

As the current face of British brand Self-Portrait as well as standing by Paltrow’s side for this past fall’s GapStudio campaign and ambitions to both act and sing, this is just the beginning for Apple Martin.
