Laneige’s new launch has major staying power — in more ways than one.
While the K-beauty brand’s best known for its cult-favorite Lip Sleeping Mask — which practically every celebrity uses — it’s now gunning for viral fame in the lip tint category, too.
The company’s JuicePop Box Lip Tints debuted this month, along with a choreographed campaign featuring the Grammy-nominated girl group Katseye.
Each of the eight shades bears a musical name — from Pop-Star Peach to DJ Plum to Lo-Fi Mauve — and is designed to “flatter every lip tone.”
Inspired by the virality of Korean lip tints, the product promises up to 12 hours of pigment, all while hydrating and nourishing lips with peptides and ceramides.
Having tried Laneige’s latest launch herself, New York Post Commerce Reporter Victoria Giardina writes: “It feels like a lip treatment — hydrating and cushiony — yet looks like juicy, glossy color that makes your face look instantly more alive.”
Here at Page Six, we’re major Laneige fans. I’ve restocked my Lip Sleeping Mask more times than I can count, while Style & Shopping Director Elana Fishman says the only downside is how hard it is “trying not to collect them all.”
The hydrating pout product is also a hit with countless stars, from Kendall Jenner to Drew Barrymore to Kate Hudson — the latter of whom once called it “the best product right now.”
We’d bet Laneige’s fresh drop will end up on the lips of more A-listers in a matter of weeks.
