‘But she could also be a small, but mighty enforcer. To see Kyra on a bull horn corralling crowds at BravoCon was truly a sight to behold.’
As his eyes filled with more tears, Cohen added, ‘She’s going to be terribly missed by all of us here and no doubt by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.’

It will ‘help provide urgently needed research for people with glioblastoma and hopefully help future Kyra’s out there.
‘We are sending all of our prayers and love to her family and her friends. So, we love you Kyra,’ Cohen tearfully concluded as his voice cracked.
A photo of Cohen and Kyra flashing cheerful smiles towards a camera then appeared on the screen.
‘Funds raised through this campaign will support a new immunotherapy research project focused on glioblastoma,’ according to the official website for The Kyra Fund.
Kyra had been diagnosed with a type of glioblastoma multiforme at the age of 27, and is described as ‘one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer.’

He announced his daughter’s passing on his Instagram and X accounts on Wednesday alongside a photo of Kyra enjoying a picnic at a park.
‘Yesterday, my daughter, Kyra, passed away peacefully after a 9 month and 11 day fight against one of the cruelest diseases I’ve ever seen up close,’ he wrote.
‘She was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, specifically Glioblastoma. I have felt all of your concern and love for these months and wasn’t ready to be anymore specific than I was.’
Samson said his daughter ‘was a 28-year-old young woman who loved deeply and who is impossible to describe in 280 characters.
‘While her life got stolen from her, she handled these months with courage, poise, and resolve. And all I want is for no family to feel what we feel today. For no young person to suffer the way she did.’
He concluded with, ‘In lieu of flowers, if you are moved to make a memorial gift, please consider “The Kyra Fund.” This fund will be used solely to research treatments for Glioblastomas.’
