It’s been a monumental month for Sarah Jane Nader. Just last week, the Love Thy Nader breakout made history as half of Dancing With the Stars‘ second all-female pairing. Now, she’s stepping into the role of creative director role for her very first time.
Express x Sarah Jane Nader, available online in limited quantities starting Sept. 23, is the duo’s co-designed clothing collection, combining the sharp tailoring, sexy silhouettes and effortless edge Nader is known for. “As a queer woman, I wanted to celebrate the freedom to dress authentically,” she says of the collection’s intention. “Whether you feel best in a dress or a suit and tie, I want you to put these pieces on, walk into a room and feel confident and in charge.”
The accompanying campaign imagery is a masterclass in mixing and matching the capsule’s 46 co-designed pieces. Standout styles include The SJ Shirt & Tie, The Casting Jacket, The Backstage Bomber, The City Short and The Crawfish Brooch, an homage to Nader’s Louisiana roots.

“Moving to New York gave me the confidence to make bolder choices and express who I am through fashion,” adds Nader. “That evolution, along with the influence of my family, shaped this collection.”
Fans will notice the names of her famous family members throughout the inventory: The Brooksie Dress, The Mae Pant, The Gan Vest, The Holland Jacket and The Breaux Coat, to name a few. Each of these pieces serves as a tribute to her closest people.
