South Korean actor Yoon Jong-hoon is set to marry actress Han Eun-seo, who is 10 years his junior, in November.
The wedding will take place at an undisclosed location in Gangnam, Seoul on Nov 1, South Korean news website OSEN reported.
Jong-hoon, 42, reportedly posted a handwritten letter to his fan community announcing the news on Monday (Sept 7).
“I’ve found someone very special, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her,” he wrote.
“After cherishing and understanding each other and working on our relationship, we are about to make a new beginning through marriage,” he added.
“From now on, I want to live with a greater sense of responsibility, both as a husband and as the actor Yoon Jong-hoon.
“As I always say, I will strive to be a good actor and also a good person. I would be grateful if you could smile with us and bless us as we share this good news.”
The couple reportedly first met on the set of crime-thriller drama series Return (2018) and, after several years of dating, have decided to tie the knot.
Jong-hoon made his debut in tvN drama Monstar (2013) and gained wide recognition for his role as Ha Yoon-chul in The Penthouse: War in Life (2020-2021).
He also appeared in various productions including The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection (2024), Sh**ting Stars (2022), Return (2018) and Hello, My Twenties! (2016). He currently plays Ko Gyeol in KBS drama Our Happy Days (2026).
Eun-seo, 32, debuted as a child actor in historical drama King Sejong the Great (2008) and later appeared in dramas such as Return (2018) and Phantom (2012).
In 2022, she graduated from the Department of Acting and Performing Arts at Sungkyunkwan University and pursued a master’s and doctoral coursework at the same university’s graduate school, according to Chosun Biz.
She reportedly later completed a master’s programme at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in the UK.
