She previously revealed she’d contracted an STI (sexually transmitted infection) from a cheating ex-boyfriend.
And Abbie Chatfield has now shared more details about her fraught former relationship, revealing she agreed to get back together with him after he cheated.
The controversial podcaster, 31, made the shock revelation during an interview with SMH after being asked to name her biggest regret.
‘Oh, I have so many,’ she admitted.
‘When I was younger I was very much controlled by my insecurities and that led to a lot of regrets, such as being with people that I shouldn’t have been with or getting back with people after they cheated on me,’ Abbie said.
‘Maybe getting back with someone after they gave me an STI? The more I think about it, the more I’m like, oh yeah, that’s definitely the biggest regret,’ Abbie – who has since found love with musician Adam Hyde – added with a laugh.

Abbie has previously spoken about the unnamed man who gave her an STI, telling The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2020 that she’d previously contracted chlamydia.
Clarifying that she got the STI not from casual sex but from an unfaithful boyfriend, Abbie added: ‘I think there’s a lot of shame about STIs in general. I just want to break down the stigma,’ she told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
About 1 in 6 Australians will have a sexually transmitted infection (STI) in their lifetime, while more than 30,000 Australians are currently living with HIV, according to Australian Government health data.
In most Australian states, if you have certain STIs, you are legally obliged to inform your sexual partner/s so they can get tested and treated.
Elsewhere in her interview with SMH, Abbie shared a stomach-churning confession about a nasty habit she can’t seem to drop.
‘I have a really disgusting obsession, when I get anxious, with cutting my cuticles so much that they bleed,’ she confessed.
‘I hate my hands, and it makes me embarrassed, and I feel sick about it,’ Abbie added.
Abbie is currently promoting her new speaking tour ‘Abbie Chatfield Loves Men’ which is showing throughout July in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

It comes after reports that Abbie won’t be taking over the plum breakfast radio gig left open by the cancellation of The Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this year.
The outspoken podcaster previously filled in after the departure of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson but reportedly won’t permanently join the station, The Daily Telegraph claimed.
The publication alleged that the ‘Australian Radio Network (ARN) Board refuses to back the controversial podcaster for the coveted KIIS FM breakfast gig.’
Chatfield’s headline-grabbing career may have factored into the decision.
