Bodybuilding influencer Sophie Guidolin has received mixed feedback after unveiling a dramatic new DIY makeover.
The mother-of-four – who was previously a brunette – on Monday posted photos of herself with blonde hair after bleaching her locks at home.
She also shared two images of herself posing with wet hair in the mirror as she documented the labourious process of bleaching and toning her tresses in the mirror.
While Sophie’s blonde makeover took fans by surprise, it was her caption that had many scratching their heads.
‘Well my hair certainly found its Irish roots,’ the 37-year-old wrote alongside a red chilli emoji.
Adding to the confusion, Sophie also included several images featuring the colour red or a quote about auburn hair – despite her current blonde look.

‘I feel like….. I’m missing something. Where’s the Irish roots…. or even the red….????’ another added, as a third commented that ‘none of the photos show red or orange hair at all so I’m confused.’
‘It’s golden blonde. Hairdresser here,’ another brutally added.
Sophie eventually attempted to clarify why she had referred to red hair despite dying her hair blonde, writing: ‘My hair went bright orange.’
Elsewhere, other users questioned whether Sophie’s images had been AI generated, after noticing several inconsistencies.
In the images, Sophie’s hair appears longer and fuller than it usually does, while the tone and consistency of the blonde colour do not appear consistent across photos.
Sophie’s Gucci choker necklace also appears warped in several images, leading to speculation that the images may have been altered or generated from scratch.

‘Maybe,’ she answered. ‘I mean I only just competed in November – so like under a year ago lol. But I don’t do it for clout – so my ego is never the reason behind my why.’
‘I want it to be [authentic] to better myself.’
