Anne Hathaway is juggling her method dressing press tours like a champ.
The 43-year-old attended a “Mother Mary” Q&A and listening party in NYC Tuesday night wearing a black mesh dress that felt perfect for her on-screen role as a pop icon.
Her black mesh Calvin Klein dress was embellished allover with tiny rosettes and showed off plenty of skin as well as her bralette and high-waisted black briefs underneath.
On top, she threw a black blazer over her shoulders and carried a mini Longchamp bag ($690) in one hand.
Currently promoting both “The Devil Wears Prada 2” as well as “Mother Mary,” Hathaway is pulling recognizable couture right off the catwalks for the Andy Sachs treatment.
However, for the titular role in the psycho-sexual thriller, she’s going Lady Gaga — with a dash of “Reputation”-era Taylor Swift — in head-turning silhouettes
Hathaway opted for a striking look for Monday night’s NYC “Mother Mary” premiere, wearing a sheer white shimmering gown from Lever Couture with more than $100,000 of Bulgari jewelry.
She was also spotted on the street in NYC on Tuesday, covering up a totally sheer pair of trousers with a double-breasted overcoat. She added a towering pair of Versace platform pumps.
With “Mother Mary” in theaters on April 17, “The Devil Wears Prada 2” out on May 1 — and “The Odyssey” this summer — we’re loving this season of Hathaway.
