Celebrity Big Brother’s Michael Fabricant has given his verdict on ‘boring’ Jack P. Shepherd and whether he’d reenter the house following Mickey Rourke’s exit.
The former Tory MP, 74, became the first star evicted from the series on Friday after losing in the public vote to the Corrie actor, 37, and Hollywood star, 72.
Fans were left fuming and slammed the result as they branded Jack ‘boring’ and claimed ‘homophobic’ Mickey, who had been warned for his inappropriate behaviour, should have already been booted – less than a day before the actor was finally kicked out
The soap star has come under fire from viewers for his not so than entertaining appearance, while a whopping eight housemates voted for him to be eliminated, with brother Tom coming to his defence in a fiery rant.
On Sunday Michael took to X to also defend the star, writing: ‘Reading some bad things about Jack. He is NOT boring. Far from it. He is thoughtful and quiet.
‘And talking to him, one to one, he is full of interesting stories and analyses – as are many of the others. But he laughs at all my jokes. (Which is a BIG plus.)’.

When one fan commented: ‘Don’t unpack yet and hopefully you’ll be able to go back in’, Michael replied: ‘I wish’.
It comes after Michael voiced his opinion on his former on Mickey’s exit, after he was shown the door following ‘further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour’.
The Wrestler star had already received a formal warning from Big Brother earlier in the week for ‘unacceptable language and behaviour’ directed at fellow housemate JoJo Siwa.
As the news broke, Michael, who was the first housemate evicted on Friday, admitted that his housemate wasn’t ikn the show to win, tweeting the damning verdict: ‘He wanted to leave on Day On’
A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother revealed the news of Mickey’s departure with a statement late Saturday, reading: ‘Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.’
It is believed that Mickey used behaviour and language toward Chris Hughes that was considered to be threatening and aggressive on Saturday.
This behaviour was directed towards fellow housemate Chris Hughes. No physical altercation took place.
The Love Island star, 32, had comforted former the Dance Moms star, 21, in Wednesday’s episode after Mickey spoke about her sexuality and said he would ‘vote the lesbian out real quick’.

This comes as earlier on Saturday MailOnline reported that Celebrity Big Brother fans were convinced Mickey was planning to quit the show after spotting one major clue.
During Friday evening’s episode former Tory MP Michael became the first housemate to be evicted after receiving the most nominations from his fellow contestants.
After the result was announced, the politician said his goodbyes before exiting to a mix of boos and cheers, where he was greeted by hosts AJ Odudu, 37, and Will Best, 40.
However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed Mickey seemingly attempting to make a sly exit alongside him.
Convinced the Hollywood star is desperate to leave, fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their suspicions.
One wrote: ‘Mickey wants out so bad, he keeps saying how he wants to leave first and when that guy was kicked he pretended to leave with him.’
However those watching slammed the result, branding Mickey a ‘homophobe’ after he left dancer JoJo, 21, in tears after he insinuated he would be able to ‘make her straight’ during their time in the house and branded her a ‘f*g’.
Mickey asked Chris if everyone had to vote one another out of the house as the Wrestler star confessed: ‘I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.’
JoJo overheard as she hit back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’
Defending JoJo, Chris interjected, ‘You can’t do that Mickey,’ yet the star was undeterred as he added: ‘I need a f*g’ before gesturing to JoJo and adding: ‘I’m not talking to you.’
Viewers demanded ‘vile’ Mickey be removed from the house after his comments towards JoJo.
But JoJo has since been hailed ‘the people’s princess’ by viewers after how she handled the horrific situation, which saw Mickey make repeated homophobic and misogynistic comments towards her.
