Zendaya gatecrashed a wedding – shocking guests by joining the nuptials as the couple said ‘I do’.
Payton Whitmore, 27, and Kadeem Strickland, 29, were left gobsmacked when she joined the back row of their Las Vegas wedding ceremony.
Movie production company A24 opened a one-day chapel in the Nevada city, ahead of the release of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s new film, The Drama, on March 14.
The couple were told the Emmy Award-winning actress would be available after the ceremony to take some pictures, but had no idea she would also be their official witness – joining the big do as a guest.
As she popped in, the actress was met by yelps and gasps.
Whitmore, from Chandler, Arizona, said: “We – as the bride and groom – were surprised when she walked in, to say the least!
“All our guests cheered and let out gasps when they spotted her as well.
“But we were able to focus back up to finish the ceremony.”
