Zach Bryan’s wife Samantha Leonard is already part of the family.
The pair were married on New Year’s Eve in a private ceremony in San Sebastian Spain after a whirlwind romance following his tumultuous relationship with Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.
And, Leonard made sure to include Bryan’s late mother in the nuptials, incorporating a piece of her wedding dress into the ceremony.
On Monday, the “Something in the Orange” singer, 29, shared a photo of his wife to his Instagram Stories, revealing the detail.
“Samantha went out of her way to put my mom’s wedding dress lace on her dress and I cried for a good bit,” he wrote, continuing, “Meant so much sweetheart, thank you.”
He then followed it up with a second photo of his mom on her own wedding day, writing, “wish you were here about now gorgeous.’
Bryan’s mother, Anette DeAnn Bryan, died in 2016 and is the namesake for his 2019 debut album, “DeAnn.”
The bride’s dress was designed by Cavanagh Baker, using over 30 yards of French Chantilly lace, according to the designer, and featured a strapless with a sweetheart neckline. The corseted bodice gave way to a dropped waist, also trimmed in lace.
The designer described the gown as “a dress that felt both modern and heirloom-worthy.” Additionally, she noted that there were “specific details that are noticeable by only the bride and groom,” which seems to be a reference to the incorporated vintage lace.
Bryan originally confirmed his nuptials on the social media platform, sharing a photo holding his new bride in his arms. “Tougher than the rest,” it read.
Leonard was seen in a different white gown than she was married in, suggesting an outfit change for the reception. It was also strapless, made of sheer silk — the bottom trimmed in feathers.
She then followed his post up a few days later with intimate snaps from inside the gorgeous church, Basílica de Santa María del Coro, adding, “forever xx.”
