Looks like Dylan Efron wouldn’t mind following in his famous brother’s acting footsteps after all.
The “Traitors” star — who is the younger sibling of actor Zac Efron — said he’d totally be down to star in the upcoming “Fourth Wing” TV series if producers were to reach out to him.
“Oh, hell yeah! Sign me up,” Dylan, 33, exclusively told Page Six at Clarins’ ICONS event, held Friday night at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
As for who he could see himself portraying?
“Pretty much anyone but Dain,” he joked. “So any of the characters but him!”
The “Fourth Wing” TV show — which is still in the early stages of development — is based on the beloved romantasy series by author Rebecca Yarros. It follows the story of 20-year-old Violet Sorrengail and her rigorous journey to becoming a dragon-rider at Basgiath War College.
Dain Aetos, who Dylan referred to, is one of Violet’s best friends from childhood who joined the Riders Quadrant one year prior. Despite their former close bond, the two grow apart as Violet forms a new relationship with rebellious dragon rider Xaden Riorson.
Dylan has previously expressed his love for “Fourth Wing” on TikTok, sharing a shirtless video of himself running outdoors while listening to the “hardcore smut” audiobook in October 2024. And just this week, he admitted to “Betches” that he could “crush” any questions about the fan-favorite novel.
Naturally, fans couldn’t help themselves from expressing their excitement over the idea of Dylan potentially getting involved with the TV adaptation.
“Plz cast him idc what role,” one person wrote on Instagram, with another adding, “Immediate petition to cast Dylan in the Fourth Wing tv show.”
A third chimed in, commenting, “OMG stop!!! Fourth Wing?! Get this man casted as [cadet] Sawyer [Henrick]… I’ll even take Dain! lol.”
Others even tagged Yarros in the comments section of Betches’ post, begging the author to “CAST. HIM. IMMEDIATELY!!”
Dylan attended Clarins’ star-studded event fresh off his win from “The Traitors” with fellow Season 3 “faithfuls” Gabby Windey, Dolores Catania and Lord Ivar Mountbatten.
Fans immediately fell in love with his charm while watching him compete in the Peacock series alongside stars like Nikki Garcia, Tom Sandoval, Sam Asghari, Chrishell Stause and Dorinda Medley.
Despite the incredible experience, the influencer confessed that, like Windey, he has yet to see “a dime” of the prize money, as the “Bachelorette” alum expressed on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” earlier this month.
“Look, I think it might have been an invoicing error,” Dylan told Page Six on Friday’s red carpet, laughing. “That’s all I can say.”
Prior to “The Traitors,” Dylan predominantly worked behind-the-scenes. He was a producer for the “Down to Earth with Zac Efron” docuseries and is credited as a production coordinator on movies like “Jersey Boys,” “American Sniper” and “The Accountant,” per IMDb.
While Dylan initially didn’t set out for fame like his 37-year-old brother (star of “High School Musical,” “17 Again” and “Hairspray”), he told Page Six that he’s considering new experiences following his success on “The Traitors.”
When asked if he’d consider joining another reality TV series like “Dancing With the Stars” or “Survivor” (like fellow “Traitors” alum Robert “Boston Rob” Mariano), Dylan said, “I’m always down.”
“I want to chase those experiences. So I’m open to another show,” he continued. “I’m enjoying the moment right now though.”
