Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Verma granted divorce
Indian cricket team spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have been granted a divorce by a family court in Mumbai. Both Yuzvendra and Dhanashree were present at the Bandra Family Court. The cricketer’s lawyer Nitin Kumar Gupta, confirmed their divorce. “The court has granted the decree of divorce. The court has accepted the joint petition of both parties. The parties are no longer husband and wife,” advocate Nitin said.
Amaal Malik breaks ties with family
Composer and singer Amaal Mallik has blamed his parents for his strained relationship with his brother Armaan Malik. He has opened up about not just his battle with clinical depression, but also announced his decision to maintain distance from his family. Amaal took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note wherein he spoke at length about the pain he has had to go through for years. The composer blamed his parents for his strained relations with Armaan. The filmmaker took to Instagram handle to express his excitement for his upcoming project by referring to it as his ‘proudest film’. Karan also mocked trolls who have been attacking him for promoting those with filmy background. He wrote, “When I began producing films (once 1 stepped into Dharma as an active part of the company), in 2003 with Kal Ho Naa Ho – the idea was to empower filmmakers and storytellers…to pay it forward. We got it right…we got it wrong but the intent was always to put out stories and films we believed in. The motive was only either entertain, seek acclaim or to simply have fun at the movies!”
