YouTuber Adam the Woo’s cause of death has been revealed one month after he was found dead inside his home in Celebration, Florida.

The influencer, real name David Adam Williams, died of cardiovascular disease and the manner of his death was deemed natural, his father, Jim Williams, revealed in a Facebook post on Monday, January 26.

Jim said he received a copy of the medical examiner’s report into Adam’s death on Monday, writing, “To our family and friends, and to all the dear friends of Adam the Woo, those who knew him and those who had never met him … You, along with us (his immediate family), have been patiently waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to finish their autopsy report. We were told the results could take up to three months! I am happy to announce that the Medical Examiner’s report is completed and I received it today by email.”

According to Adam’s father, the cause of death listed in the report is “atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease,” with obesity listed as a contributory cause of death.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Florida confirmed to Us Weekly in December 2025 that Adam was found unconscious inside his home. He was 51.

The YouTube creator’s body was discovered by a concerned friend who looked through Adam’s bedroom window and saw him lying on a bed.

“Deputies first responded to the address at 12:24 p.m. [on Monday] for a well-being check. The residence was secured, and no contact was made with the adult male residing there,” the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office public information officer told Us at the time.

“Deputies then responded back to the location for an unattended death at 2:53 p.m. A friend had borrowed a ladder and looked in the 3rd story window to see a male on a bed that was not moving. Upon entering the residence with Fire Rescue, the male was reported deceased,” the spokesperson said.

“The medical examiner responded and will complete an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The victim, 51-year-old David A. Williams, was seen [on Sunday] by the friend that saw him. This death investigation is ongoing. Next of kin was made to the deceased’s father, who lives locally,” the department rep concluded.

Adam ran two YouTube channels documenting his travels to famous movie locations, roadside attractions and abandoned theme parks.
