Garvita Sadhwani replaced Pratiksha Honmukhe as Ruhi in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about her character and shared that she find Ruhi to be very powerful.
In an interview with entertainment news portal Etimes, Garvita shared what makes her character Ruhi so special for her. She said that Ruhi is high on emotions and has very strong beliefs. The actress was quoted saying, “Ruhi is a very powerful character, and that’s what drew me me to her. She runs high on emotions and has very strong beliefs. There were times recently when she stood up to Dadisa and Fufasa and fought with elders for her brother and sister, Abhir and Abhira. I think that’s incredibly powerful. Ruhi may not always take a stand for herself, but when it comes to the people she loves, she’s fearless.” She further mentioned that Ruhi’s biggest strength is that she will stand up for the people she loves no matter what. She also believes that Ruhi has become all the more powerful now that she is a mother.
When asked who she truly admires in real life, she said she really looks up to her mother for showcasing the strength, willpower everyday. She called her extraordinary.
In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi’s character has witnessed a good character growth. Earlier, Ruhi was hates by all as she was the villain in Armaan and Abhira’s love story. However, she has now accepted her fate and rather is supportive of Armaan and Abhira.
