Gaurav won the trophy and the prestigious Chef coat. She also won Rs 20 lakh prize money. But the money is three times less than Tejasswi Prakash’s earnings. Gaurav charged Rs 4 lakh per week as his fees for the cooking reality show. As per the source close to the portal, “Tejasswi Prakash is being paid a whopping amount for her participation in MasterChef India. Following her stint in Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6, the actress now commands a premium for her shows. Considering her popularity, the channel and the production house have no qualms about paying her a decent sum of money. We have heard that Tejasswi is charging Rs 6-8 lakh per week for Celebrity MasterChef. This makes her the highest-paid contestant of the season.”
For the grand finale, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor came in as the special guest for the show. He was judging the finale dishes of the contestants. Farah Khan is the host of the show while Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna are the judges of the show.
