SmartLess is set to hit its biggest stage to date.
Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes are taking their SiriusXM’s chart-topping podcast to the Hollywood Bowl for a special live show set for Oct. 17. The live show was announced on the newest episode of SmartLess, which happened to be a milestone 300th episode, with guest Stephen Colbert.
“We’re taking SmartLess to the Hollywood Bowl, which feels ambitious considering we barely prepare for the podcast,” said the hosts in a joint statement. “After the last show was canceled due to extreme weather, we figured the least we could do was try again — this time, hopefully, with better weather, fewer excuses, and slightly lower expectations.”
The show was originally scheduled for Nov. 15, but was canceled due to a storm that hit Southern California that weekend. Fans who had tickets for the original show can purchase tickets through a special presale beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7. Additional presale options begin Wednesday with general public sales starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, all through Ticketmaster.
The outdoor amphitheater, with a seating capacity of nearly 18,000, is in the midst of a 2026 lineup that features The Last Five Years with Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler, Lewis Capaldi, Netflix is a Joke shows, Bright Eyes, Pitbull, the Human League, Paul Simon, Rod Stewart, John Mellencamp, Santana & the Doobie Brothers, the Black Crowes, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Whiskey Myers, MUSE, Andrea Bocelli, Empire of the Sun, Mac DeMarco, Jack Johnson, My Chemical Romance and more.
SmartLess was launched in July 2020, and is regularly among the top 5 most popular shows. Produced by Michael Grant Terry, Bennett Barbakow and Rob Amjärv, SmartLess has hosted hundreds of guests including Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Don Cheadle, Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Larry David, Amy Poehler, Idris Elba, Millie Bobby Brown, Pedro Pascal, Selena Gomez, Presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and many more.
They have a live show set for Avalon Hollywood on April 25, which will host SiriusXM subscribers and fans for a special conversation with a mystery guest. That episode will drop this summer.
