Paige DeSorbo admitted that she sympathized for Craig Conover before their breakup because her plans for the future changed during their relationship.
During Wednesday’s episode of “Summer House,” DeSorbo reflected on their relationship after seeing how many work commitments both she and Conover had at the time.
“Mark the day, because I’m gonna say it –– I feel a little bad for Craig,” she said in a confessional. “I am a completely different person than the girl he started dating three years ago.”
DeSorbo, 32, explained that she’s much “busier” with work and social events and is “not around as much” to spend time with Conover, 37.
“I’ve changed my mind on a lot of things, like marriage and moving and a baby,” the “Giggly Squad” podcast co-host added. “I’m not going to apologize that my life got busier and that I think differently on certain topics, but also, like, I am trying to recognize that I changed a lot.”
DeSorbo and the “Southern Charm” star –– who live in New York City and Charleston, S.C., respectively –– dated for three years while each of their careers skyrocketed.
The former couple butted heads about their future, with DeSorbo confessing on a recent episode of “Southern Charm” that she felt “pressure” from him to settle down.
“If you said to me right now, we need to have a baby or I’m leaving, like, you’d have to leave,” DeSorbo told him.
During another episode, Conover claimed that he struggled to understand her “confusing” behavior.
“I think everyone knows that, if it was up to me, we would just get engaged, but she changes her mind a lot about stuff,” he told co-star Shep Rose during a Jan. 23 episode.
“One day she’ll text me and say, ‘Let’s build a f–king farm house in the middle of nowhere,’ or, ‘I’m moving to Charleston.’ And then she’ll have a good day in New York and be like, ‘I love it up here,’” he continued.
DeSorbo ended up breaking up with Conover at the end of last year and shared the news on a Dec. 30 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast.
“I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want,” she said at the time. “I think it is the right decision for both of us.”
Conover stayed silent for two weeks before taking to his Instagram Stories to share that he was “very shocked” by the split.
However, the Sewing Down South founder later appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” earlier this month when he claimed that she dumped him “out of nowhere.”
Conover also defended not standing up for her when fans spread baseless rumors that she cheated on him.
The “Pillow Talk” later did an interview on “The Tamron Hall Show” where he clarified that there was no infidelity on either side and that the breakup was the right decision for both of them.
Their breakup will continue to play out on “Summer House,” which airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET and “Southern Charm,” which airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
