The Bachelor season 29 contestant Alexe Godin is shooting her shot with Grant Ellis.
ABC announced in January 2025 that Alexe, 27, was one of the 25 contestants vying for the affection of Grant in his season of The Bachelor, which aired later that month. (Bachelor Nation first met Grant when he pursued Jenn Tran on season 21 of The Bachelorette in summer 2024. Jenn sent Grant packing ahead of the hometown episode.)
Alexe shared that she’s a pediatric speech therapist from New Brunswick, Canada, and “doesn’t do karaoke.” Grant, for his part, noted in his bio that he “can be found cheering on the Lakers, hitting strikes at the bowling alley, or belting out tunes at karaoke.”
Alexe seemingly made a memorable impression on Grant in the premiere episode of The Bachelor season 29. Footage from the first episode showed Alexe introducing herself to Grant with a llama in tow.
“So her name is Linda. My no drama llama,” Alexe explained to Grant, who replied, “And I’m a fan of no drama.”

Alexe Is a Pediatric Speech Therapist
Alexe received her Master’s in Speech Pathology in 2022 from the University of Ottawa. “Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology : ✔️Lots of debt: ✔️,” she captioned an Instagram post wearing her cap and gown at the time.
Ahead of the premiere of The Bachelor season 29, Alexe took to her Instagram Story in January 2025 to share her students’ reaction. “Anyone hear that Miss Alexe is going to be on The Bachelor?” a child asked, prompting another to ask, “What’s The Bachelor?” Alexe captioned her upload, “Caught one of my students airing my premiere date. ‘What’s The Bachelor.’”

Alexe Has Been Open About Her Mental Health Struggles
In a December 2024 TikTok, Alexe recalled her experience taking Zoloft to help her maintain her mental health. “Back in college, I started anxiety medication since I struggled with OCD & anxiety,” she wrote over the post.
One month before, Alexe shared that she also struggles with ADHD in a separate TikTok.
Alexe Is a Cat Lover
Alexe has shared several glimpses of her furry friend via social media. In a February 2022 TikTok, Alexe shared a video of her black cat cuddling inside her shirt. “The way she looks back 🥺❤️,” Alexe captioned the post.
In January 2025, Alex shared various resources to help animals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. “If you’re in LA and want to help pets who were displaced from the LA fires – this is a great way to help our animal shelters who are working overtime to help our fur babies ❤️🩹,” she captioned a TikTok at the time.
Alexe Is a ‘World Traveler’
Alexe’s social media is full of snaps from her various travels, including trips to Croatia, Italy and Indonesia. In a November 2024 TikTok, Alexe and her friend tried their hand at the viral “suspect” challenge and touched on her adventures.
“Suspect is a world traveler, but only because credit card points exist,” her friend said, to which Alexe replied, “Oh, my God. And buddy passes.”
