Wheel Of Fortune star Vanna White has wed real estate developer John Donaldson.
The 68-year-old TV star shared the news with her followers on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon in a shock announcement.
‘Surprise! We got married! ❤️’ began White in her caption.
‘John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony. We’re excited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you!’ She finished with: ‘Love, Vanna and John.’
They began dating in 2012 and for years have said they did not see the need in making their union official.
In the accompanying images, the TV icon can be seen in a winter white dress with silver heels and a diamond band on her left ring finger as her dashing silver fox groom dressed in a black suit carries her.
And the celebrity was also pictured with her new spouse while they were on lounge chairs by a swimming pool and also in front of a large red heart on the beach.

As recent as early December, the star said they had no wedding plans as they headed to Hawaii for vacation.
‘We’re very happy,’ she told E! News on December 10. ‘We’ve been together for a long time and we are just happy the way it is.
‘Maybe people want to see us get married,’ she added. ‘When you’ve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like you’re already married. You don’t have to have that piece of paper.’
Before Donaldson she was with restaurateur George Santo Pietro whom she split from in 2002.
The former couple wed in 1990 and famously announced that she was pregnant with their first child via a puzzle on the game show in 1992.
A week later, she revealed that she had a miscarriage. ‘I so wanted to be pregnant and have a baby, so then when I finally got pregnant, I wanted to tell the world immediately,’ she told People in 2019.
They went on to have two kids: they had a son named Nicholas in 1994 and a daughter named Giovanna ‘Gigi’ in 1997.
Donaldson was born and raised in Santa Monica, California.
He got his start in the construction industry in the San Fernando Valley, packing lumber and joining framing crews.

Eventually he graduated to becoming the head foreman on luxury homes in the Hollywood Hills. He worked for Richard Dreyfuss, Dan Akroyd and Martin Mull.
Once he got his contractor’s license he went out on his own and then formed his own construction company, JDC Construction + Development Group, in California.
White and Donaldson met at a barbecue.
‘I remember looking at him and thinking, “He’s really cute,”‘ she told PEOPLE. ‘We ended up talking for a long time that night.’
‘It just works,’ she said of their relationship. ‘He lets me be me, I let him be him. There is no drama.’
White started on the show in her twenties in 1982.
‘At this point, I’m happy with my job, I’m continuing on Wheel, and we will take one year at a time and go from there,’ she told E! News in an interview published last year.
She previously signed a two-year contract extension at the time of Pat Sajak’s exit and now, two years later, she said she would only leave if another perfect opportunity came along.
Now working with Ryan Seacrest after he took over in season 42 after Sajak concluded his final one, the 41st, as the longtime host, she said: ‘You never know what’s around the corner. You just don’t.
‘Something might come to me that I want to be involved in,’ she told the outlet. ‘I just take one day at a time.’
