Travis Kelce is still unsure about his future in the NFL.
After the Kansas City Chiefs lost their final game of the season to the Las Vegas Raiders over the weekend, the tight end briefly spoke to reporters about whether he plans to retire.
“First things first, I just love this team,” Kelce, 36, said in a video shared by Kansas City Star reporter Sam McDowell on Sunday.
“I’m proud of the way we finished this — even though it ended the way it did. Guys still showed up, gave it their all and that’s all you can ask for, man,” he added.
“I’ve got so much love for this team, this organization and the people here, so I’ll spend some time with them, go through exit meetings tomorrow and get close to the family and figure things out.”
When asked if he would “take some time away” before making a decision on retiring, the three-time Super Bowl champ replied, “Who knows. Either it hits me quick or I gotta take some time.”
Kelce said deciding to continue playing football after the 2024-2025 season ended was “easier.”
“I knew right away I wanted to … give this one a shot,” he shared. “I don’t know, we’ll see.”
A separate reporter then asked the “Catching Kelce” alum if he felt like he was a “better player” this season.
“Obviously, we didn’t do as well as a team, but I felt like I came into the season prepared and ready to rock and roll with the right intentions,” Kelce said.
“The ball just didn’t go our way in a lot of those close games, unfortunately,” he confessed.
“If I do choose to come back, that’s something I’ve really gotta focus on and making sure that I’m available or ready for those moments.”
Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, skipped her beau’s final season game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The pop star, who began dating the athlete in 2023, usually doesn’t attend Kelce’s away games due to security concerns.
Last month, Page Six exclusively reported that Swift, also 36, and the “New Heights” podcast co-host have their post-NFL life planned out with different projects — and their highly anticipated wedding.
