Taylor Swift is in her audiobook era.
Just one day after revealing she loves a good audiobook, the pop star’s new Eras Tour documentary, “The End of an Era,” dropped on Disney+ — and the first episode shows her listening to popular 2024 thriller “The God of The Woods.”
The Liz Moore book follows the disappearance of a young girl from an Adirondacks summer camp in 1975 and the unraveling of long-buried family secrets that surface during the search for her.

The book was lauded by the New York Times as one of the best thrillers of 2024 and was on the bestseller list for over 35 weeks.
In the short clip, Swift is prepping for her London Eras Tour show and laying on a couch with her guitar as “The God of the Woods” plays in the background.
“Woke up this morning to a DM explosion,” Moore wrote on Instagram Friday morning alongside a clip of the viral scene. “Thank you Swifties for your sharp eyes and ears and love of reading.”

She added, “Thanks @taylorswift for being a real person. (And HARD relate on the power of audiobooks for anxiety relief.)”
On Wednesday, the “Karma” singer gushed over her love for audiobooks, telling Stephen Colbert that she “constantly” listens to them.
“It’s always a different one. As soon as I finish one, I’ll start a new one,” she said.
When asked what kinds of books she prefers, Swift explained, “So if you’ve got an old, like, rambling, shambles old British mansion covered in moss or ivy and there’s like a mysterious relationship, and he may not be what he seems. And there’s like a murder that has happened in the past, but you hear whispers of it. There’s the idea of a ghost or an actual ghost.”
She added that she loves a good plot twist and an unreliable narrator.
“If there is a marriage and the marriage isn’t what it seems, and it seems like this dude is clearly like — why are you with him? He’s horrible to you. Oh, plot twist, unreliable narrator, she is the psycho,” she told the talk show host.
She concluded if a story had any of those elements, she wants to read it, joking, “And when I say read that, I’m gonna need someone to read that to me.”
