Taylor Swift couldn’t contain her excitement when she realized the Kansas City Chiefs were returning to the Super Bowl after their AFC Championship win.
Right guard Trey Smith’s sister Ashley Smith shared an Instagram Story video Sunday showing the team’s loved ones finding out they were “headed back to the Super Bowl for the third year in a row.”
Ashley wrote that everyone in the Arrowhead Stadium suite had “nothing but smiles” on their faces.
As she panned over the emotional room, Swift could be seen hugely grinning and asking her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, “Are you serious?”
The pop star, 35, wrapped her arms around the 72-year-old in the social media footage.
“I’m actually sobbing,” one Swiftie gushed via X of the upload.
Swift and Donna subsequently took to the field to celebrate with the tight end — and cracked up over him belting out KC and the Sunshine Band’s “Get Down Tonight.”
The Missouri-based team, who won the Super Bowl two years in a row, clinched a berth in the NFL Championship by beating the Buffalo Bills 32-29.
The “Catching Kelce” alum gushed post-game that he and his teammates are “never satisfied” and are going for a three-peat.
The athletes will play against the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Feb. 9.
Swift was in attendance last year when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers and has been a staple at games this season as well.
On Sunday, the Grammy winner thanked quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, for keeping her “calm the last couple of weeks.”
In a viral TikTok video, she could be heard saying, “I didn’t know what to do. And I’d just text Brittany and be like, ‘Tell me it’s going to be OK.’”
Brittany, 29, replied, “God, what a game.”
Swift confirmed that it had been a “crazy” matchup, saying that her “heart was in [her] throat” while watching.
