Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is one of the top TV shows. The show began in 2020 and has been amongst the top five shows on the TRP charts. The show had Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma as the main leads in the first generation story. The story of Sai, Virat and Pakhi won hearts and we saw the TRPs getting high and high. The show had a huge fan following. Vihan Verma was also a part of the show. He played the role of Mohit in the show. He has now opened up about his experience working with the team of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
Vihan Verma’s shocking revelations
He spoke about facing discrimination on the sets. He shared this with News 18 ShowSha and said that he wouldn’t say he was treated unfairly, but there were days when he felt certain situations could have been more in his favour if he was a senior actor.
He shared that this is common and people always favour seniors over newcomers. But, he added that there are times when you don’t expect someone to favour another person solely based on their age and seniority. He further said that the main leads of the show are favoured more because they’re the faces of the show, they shoot more days and hours than the rest of the cast.
He recalled an incident that happened with him when he was made to wait in his room because one of the leads had a prior commitment and had to leave early and hence, their work had to be finished first. He said that this is practical, it can be frustrating when you have your own personal commitments.
He also spoke about rumour that some of his scenes were cut because of one of the leads and at that point, he was heartbroken because he was new to the show, and it’s challenging to establish yourself in a hit show where people have great dynamics.
He shared that he didn’t speak or clarify with that actor at that time. However, he believes that if something like this happens it is the makers’ fault as they allowed this to happen. He also shared that the makers of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have supported him well and he has had a positive experience.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin second generation story had Bhavika Sharma and Shakti Arora as the leads. Later, we saw Shakti quitting and Hitesh Bharadwaj entered the show. Recently, Sheezan Khan entered the show as Anubhav.
