Vicky Kaushal has clearly proved that he is one of the most versatile actors in the countries. He continues to be lauded for playing different roles on-screen. He shows no qualms in moulding himself into every character he plays and makes it extremely relatable. The actor will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava. The film is about the rich legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and how he has got the title of Chhaava. This is the first time Vicky will be seen in a historic character and fans have been super excited ever since the teaser was released.

The fierce scenes in the teaser have impressed the audience and people are awaiting to see more and more of Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava. The trailer of the film is all set to release on January 22.

Vicky recently spoke at about his upcoming movie at an awards ceremony.

He shared that Chhaava has a great team where Laxman Utekar is the director and Dinesh Vijan is the producer of the film. He said that he has worked with both of them in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. While shooting for that film, Laxman Utekar discussed about Chhaava with Vicky.

Vicky revealed that when he was discussing about Chhaava only one thing came to his mind. “The first feeling is just, will I be able to do justice to such an incredible legacy? But that’s what excites me the most as well.” He added that when one gets to play a great man like Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, it is also a beautiful opportunity to understand their culture, their history, their values, their beliefs, and their love for the country,” he told at CNN News18 Indian Of The Year.

Vicky also expressed both pride and a bit of nervousness about his role in the movie Chhaava. He acknowledged the growth he experienced through his understanding of the character and the hard work that has gone into the film.

Chhaava will release on February 14 and it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta and others.
