Married At First Sight star Jackie Burfoot has taken aim at her ex Ryan Donnelly as a war of words between the pair breaks out on social media.
The verbal stoush occurred following an uncomfortable incident during Monday’s couple’s retreat that saw Jacqui divulge details of her sex life with Ryan.
Ryan shared a clip to his Instagram story, later reposted to the mafs_australia fan account, in which he showed proof of Jacqui texting the groom’s best friend.
‘We’re here today to begin a little journey of setting the record straight. I’m going to start with this little gem.’
He then pointed to the message on screen which read: ‘Hey I know you think I hate Ryan It’s not true. I actually don’t care. I asked for us to get out of this whole s**t show scratch free.
‘I’m not against him at all. I’m just speaking my truth and standing up for my rights against Nine.’

It comes after Ryan shared a clip to his Instagram story, later reposted to the mafs_australia fan account, in which he showed proof of Jacqui texting the groom’s best friend
Ryan said the message to his pal, who was also best man at their wedding, was proof of his bride’s ‘instability’.
‘It’s just going to illustrate the instability of the character that we’re dealing with and also the potential dangers of lies, defamation and slander. None of which, at this point, I can tolerate,’ he said.
Rounding out the post, Ryan teased that this was merely the first salvo in an escalating war of words between the pair.
‘So, stay tuned. This just the start, and you’re welcome,’ she said.
It didn’t take long for Jacqui, who has moved on with fellow MAFS groom Clint Rice following her split with Ryan, to clap back at her groom and call him ‘dim.’
Re-sharing Ryan’s post, Jacqui wrote: ‘This man is so dim he can’t see that I literally don’t care about him.’
‘I’m just standing up for myself and sharing my truth. I’m not here to throw mud on anyone or drag them through negative media. I’m literally just explaining why I was crying so much.’
Continuing her spray, Jacqui took aim at MAFS producers for pairing her with Ryan in the first place.

‘I blame the producers for a breach of duty of care for marrying me to this man and not letting me leave.
Jacqui added: I’m also giving colour to my lived experience on TV and explaining to the [viewers] why I was crying, why I reached out to other grooms for help, why I couldn’t speak up, what would happen when I’d try to address his behaviour, why I fawned, why I didn’t feel like I could leave.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel Nine for comment.
Jacqui doubled down in her scathing assessment of Ryan in a subsequent post that saw her answer the fan statement: ‘Not a question, but Ryan’s clap back on Insta is doing my head in.

‘He would go on and on and on and on about the stupidest things, even if he was doing the same thing.’
She then claimed that Ryan had been secretly texting bride Sierah Swepstone, offering advice about her relationship with Billy Belcher
‘This is legit what I was facing for 12 weeks – he’s absolutely ridiculous,’ Jacqui replied.

‘He didn’t tell me and I actually found out through the media because someone tipped me off,’ she said.
‘He lied to me about it and I was like: “You know what? I don’t even care. I don’t have time for this. Do what you want”.’
Jacqui rounded out her post with: ‘Just say you’re sorry and admit you’re doing the exact same as me. Honestly, his clap backs are ridiculous, they mean nothing, he’s got nothing on me.’
