Former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover is dominating headlines, again. This time around, Ashneer is in news for slamming actor Salman Khan. Ashneer’s dig at Salman comes after he had an argument on popular reality show Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar in November 2024. It was during this episode, that Salman had hit out at Ashneer for the comments he had made earlier. Even though Ashneer was quick to apologize to Salman, he has found just abother way to to mock the actor. Ashneer recently said that Salman took a “faltu panga” with him.
Uorfi Javed reacts to Ashneer’s dig at Salman
In a video that had gone viral on social media, Ashneer Grover had spoken to students at NIT Kurukshetra. He called out Salman Khan for saying that he wasn’t aware of his name. In the video, Ashneer said, “Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne. Main toh shanti se gaya tha jab mereko bulaya. Ab drama create karna ke liye aap kisiko bol do, arey main toh aapse mila hi nahi. I don’t even know your name. Abey naam nahi jaanta toh bulaaya kyun tha?”
Interestingly, it is Uorfi Javed who has commented on Grover’s viral video. She took to her Instagram story, and posted, “Bas ab ye Salman k samne bol k dikha! This guy Salman’s competition?”

Ashneer reacts to Salman falsely claiming not to know him
When Ashneer had visited Bigg Boss 18, Salman Khan said he had never met him before. Ashneer denied this claim and said, “Aur ek baat main bata deta hun. Tum agar meri company ke brand ambassador the toh aisa nahi ho sakta ki tum merese bina mile brand ambassador ban gaye. Mai bhi kamino ki tarah hi company chalata tha. Everything had to go through me.”
Ashneer Grover rose to fame with his appearance on Shark Tank India 1 as a judge. He was reportedly removed from Shark Tank India following his fallout with his former company, BharatPe. The show made him popular because of his no-nonsense approach and candid statements and the word “doglapan”. Amit Jain, the co-founder and CEO of CarDekho had replaced him.
