TVB actress Uki Law recently revealed she’s holding down four jobs simultaneously.

Uki, who graduated with a film degree from Hong Kong Baptist University, was one of the top 12 finalists for Miss Hong Kong 2020, subsequently signing a contract with broadcaster TVB.

In an interview with HK01, the 31-year-old said in addition to acting and hosting, she teaches yoga classes four or five times a week.

To pursue her showbiz dreams and maintain a stable income, she’s also taken on a full-time nine-to-five office job.

She told HK01: “I moved out and live on my own, so I have to pay rent… My bosses are the best. They are very willing to let me take time off and apply for leave whenever I need to film.”

Uki added she’s not a big spender and often looks out for sales and discounts.

Calling herself a coupon expert, she said she collects them to offset the cost of her meals.

Earlier this year, former TVB actress Janice Pang was revealed to be working as a taxi driver.

The 33-year-old, who left TVB in July, told HK01 that she’s earning a more stable income now.

“It’s easier to make a living than being an actress. Being an actress is quite tough,” she said then.

After deducting rental and fuel costs, Janice shared she takes home about HK$2,000 (S$330) a day, which she said is more than what she used to earn at TVB.
