Taylor Swift’s concert was a slam dunk.
Travis Kelce and Caitlin Clark bonded over their mutual love of the pop star’s Eras Tour on Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
Travis’ brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, asked the Indiana Fever guard, 22, about her thoughts on attending Swift’s Indiana show in September 2024, prompting Clark to call Swift’s gigs “electric.”
“It was great,” Clark gushed to Travis and Jason, adding elsewhere, “It’s just a great show and a lot of fun.”
Travis, 35, was seen smiling from ear to ear and nodding in agreement as Clark showered his girlfriend with compliments.
Clark attended two out of three of Swift’s shows at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana — spending one of the nights with her mom and cousins.
“My mom was like begging me to take her,” Clark said, adding, “She’s like, ‘I gotta go, like, everybody’s talking about it.’ I’m like, ‘OK, OK.’”
Clark dubbed herself a “full Swiftie” and joked that she turned her mom into a full Swiftie too.
“So, good time, good time,” she said.
The former Iowa Hawkeyes player revealed that she lives right down the street from the stadium and joked that she tried to hear the show from her balcony on the one night she didn’t attend Swift’s three-night event in Indiana.
Clark also shared that she saw Swift early on in the Eras Tour, attending the “Cruel Summer” singer’s show at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis in June 2023.
“That was a lot of fun. Went with some of my college friends and we had a good time together,” she said, beaming. “I don’t know how you couldn’t have a good time at something like that.”
Clark reflected on attending Swift’s back-to-back Indiana shows in an interview after being named Time’s Athlete of the Year in September 2024.
She watched the shows from a private suite where she met Travis and well as Taylor’s mom, Andrea Swift.
After attending both nights, Taylor gifted Clark four bags of Eras Tour merchandise along with a personalized note from the Grammy winner about how “inspiring” she was.
Taylor also wrote that she and Travis were “excited” to attend one of the athlete’s games and even invited her to come to one of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs games.
Last November, the tight end gushed over meeting the highly-regarded basketball star on his podcast.
“That thing was rockin’, absolutely rockin’. … It was fun. Saw Caitlin Clark out there, got to meet Caitlin,” the podcast host shared at the time.
“She’s awesome,” he continued. “She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, you know? Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest and it was cool catching up with her.”
Travis also called Clark a “Swiftie through and through” and divulged that the Rookie of the Year was dancing and “into the show, for sure.”
At the time, Clark posted photos of herself wearing dozens of friendship bracelets on her arm and was even photographed swapping bracelets with other fans.
Ahead of Taylor’s Indiana shows, she expressed her excitement by writing on X that she was “fired up.”
