Travis Kelce needs a getaway car.
The Kansas City Chiefs player joked that Taylor Swift “is going to kill” him after he broke a chair mid-podcast episode Wednesday.
When the athlete, 36, leaned back laughing at one of his brother — and “New Heights” co-host — Jason Kelce’s jokes, the furniture he was sitting on audibly snapped.
“Oh s–t!” Jason, 38, exclaimed as Travis threw out his arms to catch himself. “Are you alright, Trav?”
The three-time Super Bowl winner confirmed, “We’re good. F–k. Taylor’s gonna kill me!”
Social media users raved over the “endlessly entertaining” clip.
“That chair was probably a real set piece from ‘Citizen Kane’ or the chair Ernest Hemingway sat in when he wrote ‘The Sun Also Rises,’ and Travis just crushed it like a pile of twigs,” one Swiftie tweeted.
Another speculated, “No way Taylor didn’t hear his loud ass crash to the ground from the other room.”
Many pointed out that Swift’s home has “been through it” lately, referencing Zoë Kravitz destroying the pop star’s bathroom, including a “vintage antique cupboard,” while trying to find her lost pet snake last year.
“[My mom, Lisa Bonet, and I were] ripping up the tile,” the actress, 37, recalled on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” in August 2025. “We [were] scratching the walls.”
Swift confirmed the “chic” debacle on the talk show the following month, joking it was “a YSL ad and not a problem.”
On Wednesday, X users resurfaced a December 2024 clip of “The Toast” co-hosts Jackie Oshry and Claudia Oshry discussing the “bigger furniture” Swift’s Rhode Island home needed to accomodate her “big [future] husband.”
Claudia, 31, quipped, “All the furniture [there] is definitely antique, and Travis [has] probably cracked a chair. … She can’t [have] these dainty antique tables. She needs Restoration Hardware … [and] Raymour & Flanigan. Good American-made s–t.”
Taylor, 36, and Travis have been together since the summer of 2023, getting engaged two years later.
The pair are set to tie the knot this June.
