Going to Japan soon? You may want to set aside a little more for your trip, as a number of theme parks across the country are raising their ticket prices. According to a 2026 survey by research company Teikoku Databank, 32 of the 101 amusement parks in Japan have increased admission fees as of July. Many have adopted dynamic pricing systems, where ticket prices vary depending on factors such as day of the week, season and demand. The changes can also be seen at some of Japan's most popular theme parks.
