Rob Rausch kept a pricey promise to Maura Higgins.
Rausch, who won season 4 of “The Traitors,” and Higgins, who was the runner-up, both appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” Wednesday. During the episode, Rausch gifted Higgins a gorgeous Hermès Birkin bag.
“Would you forgive someone if they bought you a Birkin?” host Andy Cohen polled the audience on the episode. “Yes or no?”
“She says all it will take to be forgiven is a Birkin,” Cohen continued, as Rausch put on a pair of white gloves and went to retrieve the iconic orange box, carefully unwrapping the handbag to cheers and hoots.
“I knew I would win,” said Higgins. “This is my moment.”
During the season finale of “The Traitors,” Rausch promised Higgins a Birkin bag after he betrayed her, revealing that he’d been a Traitor the whole game.
Prior to his “Watch What Happens Live” appearance, Rausch — who took home a $220,800 prize — was photographed with podcaster Jake Shane after buying the Birkin in New York City, carrying two large white bags.
The reality star, 27, told People that Higgins, 35, had actually already told him which Birkin she wanted.
“She told me immediately she wanted burgundy with gold accent, size 30,” he told the outlet.
“She thinks she basically won because she’s getting a Birkin,” he added.
He also shared that their “Traitors” cast-mate Lisa Rinna helped him with the purchase.
“She’s a very well-connected woman, and she did it,” he shared. “She gave me all her resources and originally I was going to get it from a guy in Paris.”
“I was going to actually have to go to Paris, which I was going to do,” he continued. “But now we got someone in New York City, and it’s going to be great.”
Although Rausch and Higgins had a flirty banter during “The Traitors,” he revealed during the tell-all reunion that he actually had a girlfriend for the last two months, whom he was keeping private.
Higgins also told Us Weekly that she saw Rausch as a “brother.”
“I’m not gonna ruin it for the viewers, but no, nothing ever happened between me and Rob,” Higgins said.
“People online are saying I’m ‘d–kmatized.’” she continued. “Believe me, you would know if I was d–kmatized. If they think that’s me flirting, then they do not know me, and they have never watched me on ‘Love Island [UK].’”
