Tom Hanks’ $26million home in the Pacific Palisades narrowly avoided the raging LA wildfire wreaking unimaginable havoc on the celeb-loved enclave.

The devastating fire — one of six that have terrorized Los Angeles in recent days — has burned more than 17,000 acres of land and destroyed over 1,000 structures.

Nearly 40,000 residents in the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas of Malibu and Santa Monica were forced to evacuate. As of Thursday, the fire remains entirely uncontained.

While a slew of A-list stars saw their homes turn to ash, Hanks’ white cliffside mansion appeared virtually untouched in a new photo obtained by DailyMail.com.

Hanks’ 4,513 square-foot house was situated just far enough away from the actor’s nearest neighbor, whose home was completely destroyed by fire.

There was no debris visible on Hanks’ roof or on his spacious backyard patio.

However, smoke was still visible in the air as it continued to waft from the ruins of his neighbor’s home.

Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, Tina Knowles, John Goodman, Candy Spelling, Milo Ventimiglia, and Miles Teller are among those whose homes were demolished.

The so-called Palisades Fire between Santa Monica and Malibu on LA’s western flank and the Eaton Fire in the east near Pasadena already rank as the most destructive in Los Angeles history, consuming more than 34,000 acres (13,750 hectares) – or some 53 square miles.

Hanks purchased the four-bedroom, five-bathroom abode with longtime wife Rita Wilson, 68, back in 2010.

The two-time Academy Award-winner also owns a house in Malibu, though the state of that property remains unknown as the fire continues to rage.

Hours after the Palisades Fire erupted on Tuesday, Hanks and Wilson’s son Chet Hanks shared a devastating message about his hometown.

In an Instagram Story post, the 34-year-old rapper took to Instagram begged fans to ‘pray’ for his family’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

‘The neighborhood I grew up in is burning to the ground rn [right now]. Pray for Palisades,’ he wrote, alongside a prayer hand emoji.

Chet currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee as he posted in August about ‘leaving Hollywood.’

Nearly 180,000 Los Angeles residents have had to evacuate their homes after five wildfires erupted across the Southern California landscape.

Flames destroyed the homes of dozens of celebrities months after major insurer State Farm is said to have canceled thousands of insurance policies in the area.

Hundreds of displaced residents now face multi-million dollar bills to clean up and rebuild their properties without any coverage at all.

‘You are a pile of crap for cancelling insurance policies,’ comedic actor Rob Schneider ranted against State Farm yesterday. He is one of several stars, including James Woods, who are outraged by the cancellations.

Jeff Bridges, 75, confirmed his Malibu family home was burnt down in the Pacific Palisades fire.

Per TMZ, the four bedroom home had been in the family for generations, and was inherited by Jeff, his brother and sister.

Star Trek: The Next Generation actress Denise Crosby, 67, shared that her Spanish Cottage Pacific Palisades home was completely destroyed in the wildfire.

On Wednesday she said: ‘Yesterday morning I had a beautiful Spanish cottage that gave me endless joy, where I met my husband and raised my son.

‘The only house I’ve ever owned, with fruit trees I grew, with a garden of native plants. Now, ashes. I am heartbroken #palisadesfire.’

This is Us star Milo Ventimiglia, 47, lost his home in the blaze, the actor told CBS News.

Despite neighbors telling the father-to-be that his home was destroyed, Ventimiglia got emotional when he saw it for himself after returning home to his Malibu home.

‘You start thinking about all the memories in different parts of the house and what not and then you see your neighbors’ houses and everything kind of around and your heart just breaks,’ Ventimiglia told the outlet.

Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles revealed that she lost her Malibu bungalow to the catastrophic wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles.

She heartbrokenly revealed that her oceanfront property in Malibu was wrecked by the same fire – just days after she celebrated her 71st birthday there.

Jamie Lee Curtis pledged $1 million to start a ‘fund of support’ for those affected by the fires that touched all economic levels from the city’s wealthy to its working class.

Fueled by extreme winds and no rain since March 2024, the Palisades fire cropped up on Tuesday morning in the Santa Monica mountains and is now the most destructive wildfire in California’s history.

Separate blazes erupted miles away in Eaton Canyon and the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday night and continue to terrorize residents residing in the cities of Altadena, Pasadena and Sylmar.

On Wednesday evening, a third fire — the Sunset Fire — erupted in the Hollywood Hills with evacuation orders stretching to historic Hollywood Blvd.

Hours later, a separate unrelated fire broke out in the residential area of Studio City that destroyed several homes.

On Thursday afternoon, another fire — the Kenneth Fire — erupted in Calabasas, as per KTLA, and a reported 50 acres have already been burned.

Both the Studio City fire and the Sunset fire — which has scorched nearly 43 acres of land — have since been ‘fully contained’ and evacuation orders in the Hollywood area were lifted Thursday morning.

As for the Palisades and Eaton fires, firefighters have yet to contain the raging flames after two days of destruction. Officials have warned they’re running out of water and supplies.

The National Guard has been deployed and could send in military personnel to assist, amid revelations that heroic firefighters are ‘triaging’ homes and neighborhoods.

They are battling a series of major blazes that have killed at least five people, destroyed communities and forced thousands to flee.

More than 45 square miles and 1,300 structures have been destroyed in the LA area as of Thursday since five wildfires erupted across the region, causing an estimated $48billion in damage.

The devastating fires have also disrupted scheduled events such as the Critics Choice Awards and an upcoming NHL game between the LA Kings and Calgary Flames.

The homes of Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, Candy Spelling, Heidi Montag, John Goodman and Miles Teller have all been destroyed as a result of the Palisades Fire.

But several stars, like Hanks, have been able to keep their properties safe out of sheer chance and the assistance of brave firefighters.

One of the luckiest Hollywood stars is Kate Hudson who has two homes in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The two mega properties are side-by-side and are lavish with two stories, generous balconies, lush lawns and swimming pools.

Other stars who have seen their homes saved include Rebel Wilson, Tom Brady, Chris Pratt, Dan Aykroyd, Steven Spielberg and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
