Beauty guru Mikayla Nogueira announced her divorce from husband of two years Cody Hawken after months of feverish speculation and rumors.

The Massachusetts-based couple wed in a lavish ceremony back in July 2023 after less than two years of dating.

Their marriage faced challenges as a result of Hawken’s struggles with drug and alcohol addiction.

He relapsed in 2024 after being sober for years and entered rehab in March 2025.

In her divorce announcement, Nogueira revealed that she and Hawken quietly separated months ago but that it was ‘amicable’ and they still ‘love’ each other.

Nogueira refused to share the reason for the split in order to ‘protect’ her now-estranged husband.

‘The only people that know why Cody and I made this decision is Cody and I,’ she told fans.

Nogueira’s video began with a dramatic message urging fans to ‘sit down for this’ before revealing her big news.

‘I am getting a divorce. Take a minute, take it in,’ she said.

After a brief pause, Nogueira continued, ‘Cody and I love each other so much. We would do literally anything for each other.

‘I’m not going to be sharing any details whatsoever as to why Cody and I have made this decision. The main reason I am doing that is because I want to protect Cody.

‘Cody deserves that. We both want to heal. Cody deserves to be happy. So do I.’

Nogueira called her and Hawken’s split a ‘very s****y thing’ and stressed that ‘nobody gets married to get divorced.

‘But what I can tell you is that this is very amicable. We talk everyday. He comes over for dinner. He sees the dogs,’ she said of their current relationship.

‘Cody and I were together for five years. Married for two. And they are some of the best memories of my life. Memories that I will cherish forever.’

Nogueira said that neither her or Cody ‘regret’ getting married.

She then shifted her focus to the ‘speculation’ she is expecting to see online about the end of her marriage.

‘The only people who know why Cody and I made this decision is Cody and I. I want to make that very, very clear.’

She also asked her followers to ‘leave’ Hawken’s addiction issues ‘out of the conversation.’

‘They are two separate things. It is hard enough as it is to be an addict and to struggle to stay sober.’

Nogueira then revealed that her and Hawken made the decision to divorce ‘last year’ but kept it secret from the public.

‘I have spent the last few months processing this,’ she said, adding that she’s done ‘a lot of crying and a lot of talking’ to her family, friends and a therapist.

After doing all of that, Nogueira finally got ‘to a place where [she] can make this video.’

As for what happens now, the social media star said she is focused on healing.

‘I just want you to know that I appreciate the support you have shown Cody and I over the last five years.

As she moves into this ‘unexpected chapter’ of her life, Nogueira said that she plans to ‘show up everyday’ for her fans and that she even has Valentine’s Day videos planned despite her heartbreak.

‘Nothing’s really changing on the work side. I’m still gonna be creating my beauty content. But i just want you to know, I’m still here.’
