It’s officially spring, and fresh fashion trends are blooming.

But with so many compelling looks from which to choose, which are actually worth your shopping dollars? To find out, we tapped Bloomingdale’s personal shopper Stacey Oliver (@ShopWithStacey) to walk us through the season’s standout styles.

Check them out below — and if you’d like to book a free session with a stylist either in-store or virtually, check out Bloomingdale’s Styling Services.

From butter yellow (Oliver’s personal favorite) to pistachio green and icy blue, you can’t go wrong with candy-colored hues this spring.

Shop the trend:

Alice + Olivia Adley Sleeveless Dress

“A lot of people love this dress because it’s very ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,’” says Oliver, pointing out that the design also has pockets.

Stuart Weitzman Nudist 50 Wrap Sandals

“Stuart Weitzman is the one-stop shop for shoes,” Oliver says.

Vince Pastel Painted Board Midi Dress

“I’m loving this pastel slip dress — I think it’s so beautiful,” Oliver tells us.

Boho everything

Free-spirited ’70s fashions are back in a big way. Try working a billowing blouse or ethereal maxi dress into your wardrobe, or incorporate smaller hits of the trend with suede accessories or wooden wedges.

Shop the trend:

Alice + Olivia Millie Tweed Jacket

“Some people get a little scared, but I think this is a great way to incorporate a little bit of trend without being over-the-top,” Oliver tells us. “It has the feminine, frilly, kind of boho detail, but a really classic, traditional jacket that you can wear to work, style with some denim or over a dress.”

Ronny Kobo Gisele Dress

To tone down all those ruffles, throw a classic trench coat on top.

AQUA Lori Studded Platform Sandals

Make a dramatic entrance (and exit) in a pair of loud and proud wooden heels.

’60s glam

Mod mania! Make like a Palm Beach socialite this season in streamlined miniskirts, longline vests and playful bubble-hem silhouettes in soft, sweet shades.

Shop the trend:

Veronica Beard Lois Vest and Komi Pants

“I love the Veronicas — they nail it every season. And I’m loving this pastel pink suit. It’s very ’60s glam, right on trend, and very easy to wear this summer,” Oliver says.

AQUA Strapless Midi Bubble Dress

Very demure, very cutesy.

Stuart Weitzman Arabella Mary Jane Flats

Oliver calls this “the perfect shoe for spring/summer,” saying it’s “so airy.”

Denim on denim

“Denim is something that we kind of look at as a classic, but this spring, it’s really having a moment,” says Oliver. Pile those blues on with abandon, and don’t stop at just jeans; denim jackets, skirts and dresses are equally on trend at the moment.

Shop the trend:

Cinq à Sept Khloe Denim Blazer

Oliver calls Cinq à Sept one of her “go-to brands for clients,” adding that with this denim blazer, “you don’t have to worry about fussing with” the sleeves since they’re pre-scrunched.

Cinq à Sept Aldi Denim Shorts

Make it a matching set with these chic belted shorts.

Rag & Bone Dre Low-Rise Cuffed Baggy Jeans in Meyer

Spring’s the perfect time to refresh your jeans stash, and Oliver’s partial to this brand’s versatile fits.
